The post-baby(s) body you are left with, or as I say gifted with. Many have heard of the dad bod, this image of dads with kids who are celebrating their body type and size. This is a great thing that men are so confident with their bodies. Now during pregnancy, the mom's body is put through a lot, but keep in mind you are growing a baby which is AMAZING! Women’s bodies are astounding and women should be confident and have a more positive view of the body that gave them their beautiful children. Mom Bod should be a compliment, not a negative term. Every stretch mark and pound gained should be celebrated and looked at as a trophy. Your mom bod is truly a beautiful thing, no matter your shape or size you are a beautiful strong mom.
Mom bod is waking up at all hours of the night. the love you show your children and husband. The sacrifices made for the family and all the amazing moments spent being a mom. There is no filter for this kind of beautiful. Your superpower is being mom strong, and your costume is the sexy mom bod you get to rock.
The mom bod should be celebrated. 2019 should be the year of the mom bod and the start of moms embracing their stunning body’s. Moms should help to empower and lift up those who don’t see their own beauty. Pass on the astonishing power of self-confidence. Moms are so much more than their body’s, moms are warriors and should be damn proud of themselves.
I’m as guilty as the next of looking at pictures of myself before the baby and looking down at the way I looked now. My body has changed but I have learned to be proud of my scars and changes. My husband has been a huge help in building my mom bod confidence. He tells me every day that I’m beautiful and a great mom. This really changed the way I looked at myself. I realized, I am beautiful and the best mom I can be with a handsome baby boy and husband I love to the moon and back. I’m truly blessed and nothing should be bringing me down.
Moms should stick together and help build each other's confidence. We have experienced the beauty of childbirth and raising children. At Mom Strong, we want to promote moms supporting each other. All women are beautiful and all moms are Mom Strong. Be proud of your mom bod, share the positivity with other moms. Thanks and remember stay Mom Strong!
